After driving 5:30 hours from Edmonton to Montana US border. I had to go through all finger print this but border was tiny and people were friendlier then airport, we took off after they are done with my paperwork.
Road trip involves several stops through Route 89 all the way to South. Montana is like Alberta, big fields and rolls of grain all over the place. There has been wild fires through the border area on US side as half of the forest was dead and it was looking awful.
First we wanted to stop by Great Falls area. It is supposed to be 5 big waterfalls, but we have arrived the motel litle late so, we can only see it tomorrow morning. Our plan is starting day with a quick breakfast in one of the diners and see waterfalls and later head to YELLOW STONE National Park area.
Detail of this trip will be next.
Good night.
